Shipping

Ordering an item from wegnerautomotive.com? We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

 

Delivery Time

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. After placing your order, you will see both shipping and delivery date estimates in the order confirmation e-mail and in the order summary in Your Account.

 

Calculating Shipping Cost

Shipping costs for orders from wegnerautomotive.com depend upon the method and option you choose. 

 

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

 

Items Requiring Special Handling

Oversized and extremely heavy items may require a special surcharge. The surcharge varies depending on the size and weight of the item.

 

Due to warranty issues and manufacturer restrictions, we are unable to ship all products to all geographical locations.

 

More About Shipping and Delivery Estimates

We do our best to accurately estimate when items will ship from our facilities and those of other sellers on wegnerautomotive.com. Estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including your destination address and how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment.

 

Our estimated shipping dates are always a range of dates. It is entirely possible for an item that has not shipped by the beginning of the date range to still arrive within our stated delivery estimate.

We calculate delivery estimates by taking our estimated shipping dates and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address.

 

One-Day or Two-Day Shipping

Because not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, selecting one of these options does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. Please be aware that there is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day or Two-Day Shipping. Also, when you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.

Undeliverable Packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund (minus shipping charges).

 

We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our Web site.

 

Why Was My Package Undeliverable?

Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of the following reasons:

 

Incorrect Address. If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

If an APO or FPO address is entered as an international address, the package will not reach its destination.

 

Address Format. If a post office box address was entered, the package may not ship correctly.  To ensure that such packages are routed through the proper carriers, please enter the street address (not the PO Box).

 

Other Address Problems. If the order is being shipped to a prison, there may be delivery restrictions associated with the items or shippers. These restrictions are determined by the penitentiary and may vary.

 

In rare cases, it is also possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process.

 

Failed Delivery Attempts. Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Each item is listed with an availability estimate, such as "usually ships in 2-3 days," which indicates how long it will take us to obtain the item before we can ship it to you. Also, there is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day or Two-Day Shipping. Note: When you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.

If the order is past the estimated delivery date and you have not received it, it may be lost.Orders shipped via a trackable method (such as UPS) will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

  • If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.

  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.

  • If there is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please contact us.
